Casa Mella-Russo es un centro de arte privado sin fines de lucro que abre sus puertas en el coraz\u00f3n de la Ciudad Colonial de Santo Domingo, alojado en una casa colonial que combina una experiencia arquitect\u00f3nica viva con un espacio cultural que alberga la colecci\u00f3n privada de arte de su propietaria.<\/p>

\u00a0<\/p>

Cuando nos presentaron y entendimos la visi\u00f3n de Altagracia Mella-Russo, tanto como centro que albergar\u00eda su colecci\u00f3n como un espacio vibrante que conecta la memoria del pasado y presente de la Ciudad Colonial con la cultura y el arte de nuestro pa\u00eds, tuvimos un punto de partida claro para contar esta historia \u00fanica.<\/p>

\u00a0<\/p>

La restauraci\u00f3n de la casa y la historia que revel\u00f3 nos llev\u00f3 a investigar profundamente los inicios de la imprenta en la Rep\u00fablica Dominicana. Los registros que encontramos en el Archivo General de la Naci\u00f3n sirvieron como fuente de inspiraci\u00f3n para crear un alfabeto \u00fanico que representar\u00eda el car\u00e1cter distintivo de Casa Mella-Russo.<\/p>

\u00a0<\/p>

Como punto de partida, el sistema de identidad destaca sus cualidades arquitect\u00f3nicas y funcionales flexibles, permiti\u00e9ndonos comunicar los m\u00faltiples roles de un centro cultural vivo y din\u00e1mico como este. Tambi\u00e9n dise\u00f1amos una serie de sellos que se utilizan seg\u00fan los niveles de comunicaci\u00f3n, desde sellos comerciales hasta institucionales y secundarios.<\/p>
